As the NFT market grew rapidly, unauthorized copying became widespread. Artists' original works were being re-minted from other wallets, and existing tools could not detect these violations in real time.
The team, founded under the Kernel Fellowship (KB5) program, built a reverse search engine specialized in NFT similarity detection. Visual hashing, feature extraction, and multi-stage matching pipelines were combined. The system was designed to scan thousands of collections in real time and detect unauthorized copies in milliseconds. Product-market fit was proven in three months, and the company was acquired by Tovera.com.
